PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus where a correct apparatus condition data can be stored constantly and a control method therefore. SOLUTION: When door open is detected at S48 and power supply to the entire apparatus is interrupted at S50, a timing where writing is disabled due to voltage drop is waited before starting writing of a data in a memory. When turn off of power switch is detected at S40, a timing where writing is disabled due to voltage drop is waited at S42 and a data is written in the memory at S44 before interrupting power supply at S46. |
