<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric-operated brake device having a simple structure, for producing a brake force using a brake motor as a power source, which can surely prevent the brake motor from reversing excessively. SOLUTION: A pressure sensitive rubber element 82 is arranged to an output rod 72 on a side opposite to a disc rotor 42, the resistance value of the rubber element 82 varies in accordance with a load exerted to the rubber element 82. A predetermined voltage is applied to the rubber element 82 so as to detect a resistance value of the rubber element 82. When the resistance value of the rubber element 82 is low, it can be determined that the output rod 72 is made into contact with the rubber element 82. Accordingly, the drive of a first and second motors 30, 32 is stopped. Then these motors 30, 32 come to a stop, the output rod 72 is no more displaced. Accordingly, with the provision of the only pressure sensitive rubber element 82 without using a complicated mechanical element, it is possible to prevent the first and second motors from reversing.</p> |
