<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high strength and rigidity, to assure high air permeability and heat radiatability by utilizing many holes in a honeycomb structure and to improve operability by obviating the sweatiness by heat, by forming the blank of a medical plaster cast to honeycomb-like structure. SOLUTION: The blank of the medical plaster cast for penetration of a hardener, such as gypsum or hydraulic urethane resin, is formed to the honeycomb-like structure, by which the high rigidity is imparted to the plaster cast even in the state of a single layer. At this time, the direction of the honeycomb holes is set perpendicular to the sheet face. The plaster cast sheet having the high rigidity is manufactured by penetrating the gypsum or the urethane resin into, for example, the cotton, nonwoven fabric, glass fiber stock, or the like, knitted to the honeycomb shape. When the hydraulic hardener is penetrated into the stock having such a honeycomb-like structure and, particularly, the plaster cast is attached to the inferior limb 1 of a human body, or the like, as the plaster cast sheet 2, the strength and rigidity thereof are improved, the air permeability and heat radiatability are improved and the sweatiness by heat is obviated.</p> |
