PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a part suitable for requirement at a reduced cost in good reproductivity by making a cermet body into green compact, adding the green compact to a ceramic lump, compressing and sintering the ceramic lump and the cermet body. SOLUTION: A ceramic lump can be made into a shape suitable for casting by making the ceramic lump into powder or especially suspension. Compression molding, static pressure compression molding or casting is used as a molding method. A cermet body is used as a green compact in the form of pin or plate and used as an electrode after baking. Preferably a part 18 of the ceramic lump as powder is packed into a cavity 14 approximately corresponding to the shape of a finished ceramic part. Successively cermet electrodes 20 and 21, especially pin-shaped cermet electrodes are inserted into the ceramic lump and finally the cavity is optionally filled with the residual part 22 o the ceramic lump. Then, the ceramic lump and the cermet body are compressed by dry pressurization and finally sintered. |
