摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance power transmitting efficiency by introducing a complex structure such that the power from a prime mover such as an engine is fed to a hydraulic transmission part and a mechanical transmission part, and feeding to the hydraulic transmission part in low speed rotation and to the mechanical transmission part in high speed rotation. SOLUTION: A power transmitting device is equipped with a pressure switch 10 actuated with the oil pressure in a conduit 3d leading from a front pump 2A coupled directly with the shaft 2a of a variable displacement hydraulic pump to a rear pump 2B directly coupled with a coupling shaft 6, a throttle 12 and relief valve 11 installed to generate communication from the conduit 3d to a tank T, a selector valve 5 installed so as to shortcircuit closed conduits 3a and 3b, and a displacement sensor 8 to sense the displacement of a lever 2b which changes the discharge amount of the hydraulic pump 2, whereby the selector valve 5 is opened and closed in conformity to the signal given by the sensor 8 while a clutch 7 is engaged and disengaged with the signal from the pressure switch 10 on the basis of the signal given by the sensor 8, and the power from a primer mover 1 is fed to a mechanical transmission part M in high speed rotation.
