PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing a vehicle body of a monorail vehicle from turning over on an abruptly curved rail. SOLUTION: Each of bogies 14 of a monorail vehicle rolls on a curved rail since a stabilizing tire 13 is shifted outward of the curved rail, and accordingly, the gravitational center of the vehicle body having a large mass is shifted inward of the curved rail so that the vehicle body largely rolls. Accordingly, a device 21 is adapted to convert a relative yawing angle of the vehicle body upon running on the curved rail, into a vertical displacement between the vehicle body and the bogies so as to raise the vehicle body on the inside of the curved rail. With this device, the vertical distance between the stabilizing tire 13 and a guide tire 12 can be reduced, and it is possible to avoid a risk of turn-over of the vehicle body due to a roll inward of the abruptly curved rail without incurring an increase in the infrastructure cost caused by an increase in height of a track beam 10.
