PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which is capable of preventing a turned-up part on the tip side and the rear end side of a board material from being generated and is almost free from resistance in feeding the board material so that only a small feed power is required during a board material cutting operation. SOLUTION: A rotatable material support roll 22 is installed below a plane cylinder 23 rotating at a fixed position and a forward feed mechanism 24 and a backward feed mechanism 25, both of which nip a board material A between an upper and a lower roll, are arranged at a forward part position and a backward part position in a board material feed direction with the plane cylinder 23. In addition, a forward displacement body 26 and a backward displacement body 27, both of which nip the board material A between an upper and a lower roll are arranged at a position between the plane cylinder 23 and the forward feed mechanism 24 and at a position between the plane cylinder 23 and the backward feed mechanism 25. Further the upper and the lower roll 33, 34 of each of the forward displacement body 26 and the backward displacement body 27, are forcibly movable vertically. Besides the board material A is pushed down to deflect downward in such a state that the material A is supported at three points at a position forward of and at a position backward of the plane cylinder 23. Thus the board material A is prevented from bounding up when it is processed by cutting and thereby a turned-up part is prevented from being generated on the tip side and the rear end side of the board material A during processing by cutting.
