PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove easily and reliably harsh components by attaching a harsh component intake container where one or a plurality of intake holes to take in harsh components floating on the surface of broth are provided in a pot body. SOLUTION: The harsh component intake container 4 is mounted detachably in the upper portion of a medium material storing pipe 3 provided in the mode of standing vertically from the inside of the bottom 1a of a pot body 1. A plurality of vertically long elliptical harshness intake holes 4b are provided peripherally on the peripheral surface of the harsh component intake container 4, harsh components D floating on the surface of broth C flows toward the center following the convection of the broth C and is taken into the harsh component intake container 4 from the harsh component intake holes 4b as shown by hollow arrows. Therefore, by scooping a certain quantity of harsh components D collected in the harsh component intake container 4 with a scoop, harsh components D floating on the surface of broth can be removed easily.
