PURPOSE: A transmission signal gain control method minimizes a spike noise which is generated in muting or unmuting a transmission signal. CONSTITUTION: The transmission signal gain control method searches (200) a communication starting, sequentially amplifies (204) a gain of the amplifier of amplifying a transmission signal from a microphone when starting a communication, and makes unmute state. After the communication starts, the method searches whether the communication is terminated or not. If the communication is terminated, a gain of the amplifier is sequentially decreased, so that mute state is made.
