PURPOSE: A manufacturing method for an arrowroot beverage is provided to enhance the peculiar flavors of an arrowroot and a Job's tear and to be easy to drink while containing excellent flavor and nutrition. CONSTITUTION: An arrowroot beverage is manufactured by: washing a fresh arrowroot by using clean water; adding water for 50-70 wt% of the arrowroot weight to the arrowroot for making an arrowroot juice; separating an upper layer liquid and starch from the arrowroot juice; boiling the separated upper layer liquid for filtering for eliminating impurities; drying an activated carbon in a temperature of 100°C for 2 hours in a drying furnace; putting the activated carbon for 2% of density; boiling for depositing and filtering for adjusting the sugar rate for 9% for making the arrowroot juice without a bitter taste; and adding 20% of parched Job's tear for relieving the remnant bitter taste.
