APPARATUS FOR OPERATING CONTROL SURFACE OF AIRCRAFT

PURPOSE: An apparatus for operating a control surface of an aircraft is provided to selectively control the control surface of an aircraft through the operation of the oil pressure or the manual operation as occasion demands. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for operating a control surface of an aircraft is formed by:a control valve assembly making the fluid incoming/outgoing ports selectively opened or closed according to the position of a valve spool; an interlock assembly having a first connector connected with the valve spool, forming the fluid incoming/outgoing ports connected with the fluid incoming/outgoing port of the control valve assembly, and able to move lengthwise of the first connector only in the oil-pressure mode; an input rod having its central part connected to be possibly revolved to the first connector; a second connector having its end part connected to the end part of the input rod and its other end part connected to an end part of the connecting rod installed on the control surface; and a power cylinder for extending or contracting the piston rod.
