DEVICE FOR ADDING CLOSING FORCE FOR ELEVATOR DOOR AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An adding device of a closing force for an elevator door is provided to reduce the size of an actuator for opening and closing the door and to restrict a closed state of the door for a person not to open the door optionally. CONSTITUTION: A device for adding a closing force to an elevator door includes: a permanent magnet(40) containing a magnetism; a magnetizable core(51) being absorbed after being magnetized by the permanent magnet; an electromagnet(50) being composed of coils(53, 53') being excited to be magnetized to a desired polarity by being wound around the core; and a controlling instrument(60) for controlling the electromagnet for the electromagnet and the permanent magnet to meet for being adhered in a closed state of the door while a repulsive force to operate between the electromagnet and the permanent magnet at an initial period of opening the door. The closing force adding device for the elevator door can be applied to a raising apparatus, a moving apparatus, and a door requiring a safety according to be automatically opened and closed as well as to any elevator door regardless of the kind and the type of the actuator.
