PURPOSE: A radio system and automatic tracing apparatus is provided to always select the same frequency. CONSTITUTION: The channel automation tracing apparatus includes a navigation apparatus, an interface part(24), and a radio apparatus control part(25). The navigation apparatus is to exteriorly output an information for the present position of a vehicle exterior. The interface part is to be inputted an information for the present position which is outputted from the navigation apparatus and provide a broadcasting area information, which corresponds to the present position and is in advance established, to the radio apparatus. The radio apparatus control part is to confirm a present established broadcasting station, confirm the present broadcasting area being provided in the interface part using a present broadcasting area information, and tune to a frequency of the present established broadcasting of a changed broadcasting area when the present broadcasting area is changed.
