PURPOSE: An input method of Korean domain on a web browser is provided to use Korean domain by inputting the Korean domain address which transforms into a Roman alphabet. So, without using forwarding service of Korean domain agent or remembering English domain name, surfing internet could be easily done using Korean domain name. CONSTITUTION: In the input method of Korean domain name using a keyboard, a Korean domain name inputted in Korean alphabet is transformed into the Roman alphabet, therefore the Korean domain name is transformed into English domain name automatically. This could be done by phonetically databased Korean and English alphabet pair. For instance, the first constant of Korean alphabet corresponds to g or k, the second to n, the third to d, and so on. And the first vowel of Korean alphabet corresponds to a, the second to ya, the third to eo or u, and so on. In this way, every Korean alphabet could be expressed by its English counterpart, and vice versa. For example, the "samsung" could be analyzed by Korean alphabet system into six characters, which is "s", "a", "m", "s", "u", "ng". The "s" corresponds to the seventh consonant in Korean alphabet, and "a" corresponds to the first vowel in Korean alphabet. Likewise "m" corresponds to the fifth consonant, "u" to the third vowel, and so on. So "samsung" corresponds to 6 Korean characters. By inputting the 6 Korean characters in the computer keyboard, the recorded keyboard buffer of the 6 Korean characters are transformed into the corresponding Roman alphabet "s", "a", "m", "s", "u", "ng", so that the domain name of samsung inputted in Korean characters are transformed into the "www.samsung.co.kr" in Roman alphabet automatically. In this way, Korean domains on the internet could be used more efficiently.
