ELECTRONIC VALVE FOR GAS METER

PURPOSE: An electronic valve for a gas meter is provided to increase safety and reliability as reducing the danger of gas leakage and preventing the valve from closing caused by the change and vibration of gas pressure. CONSTITUTION: A gas meter(21) forms a passage(24) and a chamber(25) that flow gas to connect a gas inlet pipe(22) and a gas outlet pipe(23) to be penetrated. The chamber buffers the rapid change of the gas pressure and the flow amount so that the gas of certain pressure can discharge through the outlet pipe. The passage places a flow amount measuring unit(26) and a gas pressure sensor(27) and a wall body(28) is formed the passage between the inlet pipe and the flow amount measuring unit. The wall body forms an opening unit(30) that is selectively open and shut by a valve plate(29), advancing and retreating from an electronic valve(20) that is placed in the outer side wall of the inlet pipe.
