PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a binding cover material composed mainly of an olefin resin not generating dioxin at the time of burning and provided with improved touch feeling, calendar adaptability, foil transfer properties at the time of secondary fabrication and the like. SOLUTION: A cover material is formed of a foamed resin layer 2 of 75-500 g/m2 basis weight composed of an olefin resin printed with a softening improver, a foaming agent and other auxiliaries and laminated on a base 1, on which further a non-foamed resin layer 3 of 70-200 g/m2 basis weight composed of an olefin resin blended with a softening improver and other auxiliaries is laminated. The base 1 can be removed from the binding cover material and the non-foamed resin layer 3 can be laminated on the foamed resin layer 2 to form the binding cover material of a two-layer structure.
