PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize space saving, speeding-up of a printing operation and stabilization of print volume by providing a means which synchronously rotates a printing drum with a mounted printing plate with a substrate conveying mechanism and prints paste on the surface of the substrate through an opening in the printing plate using a stationary squeegee in the printing drum. SOLUTION: A printing drum has a rotary bearing on one side face and an open structural other side face and a squeegee unit is fitted to a squeegee enclosure in such a manner that the squeegee unit finds its way into the interior from the open structural other side face. The squeegee unit is of a partition construction so that a squeegee and a seal blade come into contact with a printing plate inside the printing drum to keep the drum closed semi-hermetically. In addition, the drive mechanism of a substrate conveying table is synchronously rotated with the printing drum to hold a printing substrate at a specified position on the table and thus a specified positional correction is performed. In this case, the tip part of the substrate conveying table is moved to a position right under the center shaft of the printing drum and stops there. Paste is supplied into the drum from a paste supply nozzle and the retained paste is shoved to a spot in front of the squeegee by the rotation of the drum to print the paste on the surface of the substrate.
