STERILIZING AND DISINFECTING AGENT FOR ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sterilizing and disinfecting agent having disinfecting action and long term stability, adequate for an endoscope. SOLUTION: This sterilizing and disinfecting agent for the endoscope contains 0.5 to 5 wt.% glutaraldehyde, 8 to 16 wt.% polyethylene glycol of a low mol.wt., 0.005 to 0.005 wt.% butylhydroxyanisole and/or butylhydroxytoluene and 0.0005 to 0.005 wt.% citric acid.
