PURPOSE: A wireless responding bid system for an electronic auction and driving method therefor are provided, which transmits data according to an essence number of each wireless responding bid device received from a receiver when performing an electronic auction. CONSTITUTION: A wireless responding bid system for an electronic auction comprises: a CPU (1) for controlling an entire system; a wireless set (2) for transmitting and receiving data with a receiver according to the CPU (1); a modem (3) for modulating and demodulating data transmitted and received through the wireless set (2); a digital switch (4) for setting an essence number of a responding bid device; a key matrix (5) for inputting a responding bid price; a key input unit (6) for inputting the responding bid price to the CPU (1); and a display unit (8) for displaying the responding bid price on a 7-segment (7) according to the control of the CPU (1). Thereby, the size of the entire system is decreased.
