PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for measuring a video is provided, which accurately measures an abnormality of a conduit inside when testing and repairing the conduit inside. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises:a camera transmitter (10) including a camera (11) and a light emission unit (12) to be installed at a certain height from a lens of the camera (11) for emitting a light which is crossed with a center line of the camera lens, which is moved by a motor driving; and a system control unit (30) for controlling the motor of the camera transmitter (10) to control the movement of the camera transmitter (10), controlling the light emission unit to emit a light, controlling the camera to pick-up an object on a monitor, computing a distance using a light point, computing a size of the video screen, measuring a size of the object as a graduation value, multiplying the graduation value and the size of the video screen, and computing a real size of the object. Thereby, a scale of an object is displayed accurately.
