PURPOSE: A water meter coupling structure is provided to easily confirm a gauge of water meter in deep location and prevent freezing-fracture by infiltration of subterranean water. CONSTITUTION: The water meter coupling structure comprises a water meter, a protection tube, successive lenses, and a penetrating window. The water meter is connected in the protection tube. The water meter is connected a subterranean water pipe through internal pipes. The penetrating window with successive lenses is installed inside of water meter. A screw projection is formed outside protection tube. A taper is formed inside of section for the screw projection. A screw cap is connected outside of screw projection. A triangle typed packing is inserted in the taper of screw projection.
