PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a rare-earth permanent magnet is provided to improve mechanical characteristic by a metal having a low melting point for playing a role of a binder. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a rare-earth permanent magnet comprises the steps of: manufacturing a powder by pulverizing a rare-earth compound metal of a fast cooled and solidified amorphous ribbon state; manufacturing a pre-molded body by inserting the compound metal powder into a metallic molding device to compress and mold it, and permeating a metal having a low melting point of a melting state into a gap of the powder molding body; forming a rectangle-shaped permanent magnet the pre-molding body by hot pressing process; and processing a surface of the permanent magnet molding body.
