PURPOSE: A compact disk player having telephone calling function is provided to improve an usage convenience by adding a telephone calling function to compact disk player(CDP) to use both a CDP and telephone simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: In the compact disk player having a pickup section for detecting information stored in a compact disk, a signal output section transforming the detected data by the pickup section to a voice signal and outputting, and a controller controlling an action of each section according to key input, an auxiliary calling apparatus includes a signal processor(30) composed of a transmission section, a reception section and an amplifier section treating a voice signal being transmitted to and received from a telephone body(10), a headset(50) composed of a microphone and a speaker, a switch(20) connecting to the telephone body(10) or an output of CD module selectively by switching operation, power supplier(40), and a power switch supplying or cutting a power of the power supplier(40).
