PURPOSE: A device for sensing the wrong-connecting line of a multi-air conditioner is provided to sense the wrong-connected line of a multi-air conditioner by replacing the common line of a signal line and a common line which form a communication line between an indoor device and an outdoor device with the refrigerant pipe. CONSTITUTION: The device for sensing the wrong-connecting line of a multi-air conditioner includes:a microcomputer(110) controlling the action of the indoor device and operating the wrong-connected line by performing the subroutine of a trial run; a transmitting/receiving unit(120) for transmitting and receiving the information with an outdoor device through a communication signal transfer unit(130) of the rear end by the control of the microcomputer; the communication signal transfer unit consisting of an earth-in common line for sharing a signal line transferring a signal and power; a transmitting/receiving unit(140) for transmitting and receiving the information with the indoor device through the communication signal transfer unit; a microcomputer(150) controlling the whole outdoor device including the transmitting/receiving unit of the outdoor device; and a wrong-connected line indicating unit(160) indicating the normal or the wrong-connected line according to the operated consequences of the microcomputer of the indoor device.
