METHOD FOR FORMING PATTERN ON SURFACE OF TIMBER BY USING METAL MOLD

PURPOSE: A method for forming a pattern on the surface of timber is provided to reduce a construction time on the spot and to give an excellent appearance onto the surface of a finishing material for the corresponding construction. CONSTITUTION: The method is composed of the steps of: processing a raw timber into the desired size and thickness; making a veneer board by spreading an adherent agent between raw timbers while vertically and horizontally piling up the plural processed timbers over and over again; pressurizing the veneer plate by inserting into a press; coating a resin material on the pressurized veneer board; placing a thin patterned timber on the top face of the coated veneer board; and molding the veneer board placed with the patterned timber into the desired shape by using previously manufactured metal mold.
