PURPOSE: A deflection apparatus is provided to reduce a full length by increasing a deflection angle of an electronic beam. CONSTITUTION: The deflection apparatus comprises: a panel (1) having a fluorescent plane; a funnel (2) attached at a rear stage of the panel; an electron gun (5) inserted in a neck part of the funnel, for outputting an electronic beam (4); a deflection yoke (6) for deflecting the electronic beam from the electron gun; a shadow mask (8) for selecting a color through a slot to deflect a predetermined fluorescent body; a frame (10) for supporting the shadow mask; and a magnetic substance (20) for increasing a deflection angle of the electronic beam between a mounting portion of the deflection yoke and the panel.
