PURPOSE: A plate heat exchanger type absorber is provided to prevent a flooding phenomena within a heat exchanger, enabling the plate heat exchanger to be used as an absorber and the balanced inflow of the coolant vapor, and to enhance the efficiency of the absorber by making the weak chemical solution absorb the vapor smoothly. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger to be used as an absorber comprises; a regenerator(30), a condenser(31), an evaporator(32), an absorber(33), a rectifier(34) a coolant heat exchanger(35) a solution heat exchanger(36), and a coolant inlet port(38) to introduce coolant from the coolant heat exchanger(35), To the inflow port(39) of the chemical solution a chemical solution is introduced and to the inflow port(40) of cooling water a cooling water is introduced(W1). To the coolant vapor passage(41) heat exchange fins(42) are stuck. By the side of the heat exchange fins(42) coolant inflow windows(43) are installed in a specific distance and the heat exchange fins for a coolant passage are installed in a wrinkled state.
