PURPOSE: A kimchi refrigerator is provided to effectively prevent cool air from being leaked and to forcibly discharge the heat being generated from a Thermo Electric Cooler(TEC) for preventing an ill effect being caused by the heat. CONSTITUTION: A kimchi refrigerator includes: a refrigerator body(10); a storing container(20) being stored in the refrigerator body; a cover(30) being combined to the upper unit of the refrigerator body for being rotatively opened and closed; a TEC(50) being stored in the cover for generating a cool and a heat from the both sides by the feed of an electric power; a forcible air blowing instrument being stored in the cover for forcibly blowing the cool being generated from the TEC to around the storing container for cooling the storing container and for forcibly blowing the heat to the outside of the cover; and a locking instrument for selectively locking the cover to the refrigerator body.
