PURPOSE: A method for downloading a telephone number in hand phone is provided to at one time store a large number of telephone number to the hand phone using a telephone information service of an information providing company. CONSTITUTION: The method for downloading a telephone number in hand phone(1) is to store a received information on a download information list storage region which is newly added in the hand phone call list storage region when user connects to an information providing company(4) through an internet or a telephone information service after a procedure for confirming member is performed and a telephone number information of members, which is provided from the information providing company, is downloaded on-line and after the user registers the information providing company with a member and receives a member number and a secret number.
