PURPOSE: A consecutive reading method is provided to improve an access function by consecutively reading data while reading the data from a recording media. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of reading data from a recording media according to a reading command transmitted from a host, generating a duplicate reading command when a new reading command to consecutively read data is transmitted from the host while reading the data from the recording media, and consecutively reading the data from the recording media when the duplicate reading command is generated.
