PRINTER RESOLUTION IMPROVING DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF USING DOUBLE LOOK-UP TABLE

PURPOSE: A printer resolution improving device is provided to prevent overlapped dots and avoid without difficulty the printing jitter able to occur in the printing process. CONSTITUTION: The printer resolution improving device comprises; a video control part(10) to output a multi-tone image data having the resolution of the 1st per unit area dot number; a resolution improvement technology part to receive the image data and realize a resolution improvement technology by improving printing resolution to the positive number times of the 1st per unit area dot number and by using separate look up table respectively for each even number scanning lines and odd number scanning lines to prevent dot overlapping; a printing engine part to perform printing by the resolution improved to the positive number times of the 1st per unit area dot number.
