PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety and the productivity at the time of producing chips of Mg; etc., and to reduce the producing cost by utilizing centrifugal force, spattering the molten grain of Mg or Mg alloy in the radial direction and solidifying it. SOLUTION: The molten metal of alloy metal of Mg; etc., Mg scrap or alloy scrap of Mg; etc., melted or the molten metal alloyed from a new Mg block, is held at 850 deg.C and poured into a multi-hole cylinder 20 rotating at (200 times/min) through a molten metal supplying cylinder 23. The molten metal grains D poured into the multi-hole cylinder 20 are spattered in a radial direction into a spare space filled up with an inert gas from molten metal spouting holes (hole diameter 3 mm) 22 with centrifugal force. These spattered molten metal grains D are formed as a spherical state or a block state by climbing while rolling on the inner wall surface of a cooling cylinder 30 to the upper direction, and after reaching a cover body 34, these grains are dropped and diacharged from a discharging hole 35 at the lower and part and collected into a housing case 351.
