AMPLIFIER STATUS DETECTING DEVICE AND METHOD USING FREQUENCY SYNTHESIZER

PURPOSE: An amplifier state detecting device is provided which couples the input and output signals from the power amplifier and finds the frequency by using frequency synthesizer. CONSTITUTION: The power amplifier (210) receives and amplifies the high frequency input and outputs it in a high frequency. The first and second couplers couple the high frequency input. The high frequency switch (240) selects one of the high frequency input signals and output signal of the first and second couplers. The frequency synthesizer (250) converts the frequency of the signal from the high frequency switch to the middle frequency and measures the voltage strength. The processor (260) stores the signal from the frequency synthesizer and controls the frequency synthesizer and the high frequency switch.
