PURPOSE: An immediate image output apparatus of a multi-photographing/single output type which selects one among outputs of the plurality of cameras and provides the selected output to one output processing part and a method thereof are provided. CONSTITUTION: An immediate image output apparatus includes; a plurality of self photographing means (100) each of which includes a digital camera (150) for outputting a monitor signal to monitor a photographed subject, storing an image signal in response to a pushing operation of a shutter button (142), and outputting the stored image signal, a monitor (130) for displaying the monitor signal from the digital camera, an actuator (151) for actuating the pushing button of the digital camera, and a power supply (110) for supplying a power; and one output processing means (200) which includes a selecting part (220) for selecting one among image signals outputted from the plurality of self photographing means, a computer (230) for combining a selected image signal from the selecting part with a memorized background signal, and an image output part (240) for printing a combined image signal. Therefore, an immediate image output apparatus in which the printer and image processing part can be commonly used is achieved.
