PURPOSE: An audio record and play method and apparatus is provided to prevent recording and playing casting signal having a bad receiving sensitivity by recording an audio signal having a good receiving sensitivity selectively. CONSTITUTION: The audio record and play method is comprising the steps of sensing an output voltage of an audio signal transmitting from a casting station according to selection of casting mode and deciding a receiving sensitivity state of a casting signal, recording the audio signal in a memory in a constant time interval by over-writing if the receiving sensitivity is more than a constant practical sensitivity level and outputting the audio signal through a speaker if the receiving sensitivity is less than the constant practical sensitivity level, playing the audio signal according to a play key operation in recorded state of the audio signal.
