PURPOSE: A computer security device is provided to prevent an usage of computer for user without a permission using fingerprint recognition. CONSTITUTION: The computer security device comprises a main power supply, a fingerprint recognizer, an auxiliary memory unit, and a power controller. In the computer security device, the main power supply supplies power to a computer. The fingerprint recognizer recognizes a fingerprint of user and the auxiliary memory unit stores a fingerprint data of user with permission. The power controller turns on the main power supply to supply power and boot the computer system if the recognized fingerprint is same with the stored fingerprint. The power controller turns off the main power supply and cuts off booting of computer system.
