<p>PURPOSE: An analog/digital broadcast receiving equipment is provided to enhance a receiving efficiency of an analog broadcast signal by removing the generation of a digital noise which may affect on the analog broadcast signal. CONSTITUTION: The equipment comprises: a channel part(200); a PIF part(300) for decoding an intermediate frequency signal output from a divider(202) into a video signal or audio signal of a base band; a CPU(central processing unit)(401) for controlling a switching operation as well as a channel selection of the channel part; and a MPEG(moving picture experts group) decoder(402) for decoding a digital data output from the digital processing part into a original video/audio signal; an encoder(403) for encoding the decoded original video/audio signal into an analog video/audio signal. When an analog broadcast is received, a power switching part(204) of the channel part is turned off by the control of the CPU, to cut off a power(100) supplied to the digital processing part, thereby removing the generation of a digital noise. While when a digital broadcast is received, the power switching part is turned on by the control of the CPU to supply the power to the digital processing part.</p> |
