PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display(LCD) is provided to increase optical transmissivity and decrease a size of the LCD by making a compensation plate and a polarization plate to one plate. CONSTITUTION: The LCD comprises: a polarizer(114); a transparent protect film(116a)(116b) for being adhered to the both sides of the polarizer; a polarization plate(110) coated with the transparent protect film(116a)(116b); the polarization plate(110) being arranged to both sides of a liquid cell(100); a compensation body(208) for being sequentially stacked with an alignment matter(120) and a liquid polymer(122) to a transparent protect film(116a)(116b); and a compensation plate(112) adhered with a adhesive to both sides of the compensation body, wherein the compensation plate(112) is located between the polarization plate(112) and the liquid cell(100), and the compensation body(208) and the polarizer(114) is stacked between the adhesive(124) by making the compensation plate(110) and the polarization plate(112) to one plate.
