PURPOSE: A call register device of an elevator and its method are provided to register plural call floors merely by using a few buttons. CONSTITUTION: The call register device of the elevator comprises: a button input detecting circuit(77) parallel contacted with a call floor input button unit(81); a button input detecting unit(72) to store by reading button state data(77a) from the button input detecting circuit(77); a button input processing unit(73) to frame a driving signal(73b) about button operation state data and a display device(87) by using the data framed from the button input detecting unit(72); a button input checking unit(74) to check if a button control is abnormal, if a button input is canceled, and a defect state; a call floor register processing unit(75) to frame a driving signal(75b) by detecting and by judging if an entrance selecting button(86) is operated when a normal button input is generated and a set button(84) is operated.
