PURPOSE: A reverse time slot division and allocation method for a bidirectional wireless call is provided to transfer a packet more rapidly and stably. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of reverse time slots included in a predetermined time interval are divided into a slotted ALOHA portion(100) in which the time slots are allocated according to a slotted ALOHA protocol and a reservation ALOHA portion(200) in which the time slots are allocated according to a reservation ALOHA protocol. A control signal, which shows a boundary division location according to a traffic in each portion determined by a system operator for allocating the slotted ALOHA portion and the reservation ALOHA portion variably, is transferred(S4) to each wireless call terminal through a forward wireless link. Each wireless call terminal calculates(S5) a boundary division reference(BDR) for allocating(S6) the slotted ALOHA portion and the reservation ALOHA portion in a predetermined time interval by using the control signal, and sets(S2) the half of the predetermined time interval as the BDR if the BDR is not fixed by the system operator. According to the calculated BDR, the slotted ALOHA portion and the reservation ALOHA portion are allocated. Thereby, a packet is transferred rapidly and stably, and an efficiency of reverse transfer is highly enhanced. |
