PURPOSE: An assembling structure for a double side plate of an elevator car is provided to reduce the number of assembling processes by removing an extra rear plate. CONSTITUTION: An elevator car(10) with an assembled two-fold side plate is formed by: sticking plural reinforcing members(11) for surrounding the outer surface of a sound absorbing material(12) such as a polyurethane foaming body on the outer wall of the elevator car by using a double-sided tape; and integrally fixing the surfaces contacting to each reinforcing member by welding for preventing the reinforcing members from being shaken. An extra rear plate is needless to be combined because the contacting surfaces of the reinforcing members are integrally fixed by welding, and the assembling processes are reduced because a rebating process for combining the rear plate is needless.
