A reclosable bag (10) of plastics material is provided with a closure consisting of male and female fastener elements (18, 22), with the bag outwardly of the fastener elements terminating in face-to-face flanges (24a, 24b) of material. At least one of these flanges (24a, 24b) is perforated along a line parallel to the fastener elements to facilitate separation of the flanges. The perforations (26) may be a regular series of slit-form perforations or pin-point perforations for example. |
