PURPOSE: An advertisement method using a control region of a web browser is to provide a wanted advertisement using a child window displayed in a control box region on an upper portion of a web browser. CONSTITUTION: An advertisement method using a control region of a web browser comprises the steps of: (S101,S102) connecting a web site and checking a kind of web browser of an internet user and a version; (S103) generating a child window in which a banner advertisement is inserted according to a kind of web browser and the version; (S104) locating the child window at a control box region of a main window; (S107-S111) maintaining the child window in case that a mouse pointer is located in a link portion; and (S106) locating the child window at the control box region of the main window. Thereby, the advertisement effect is improved greatly.
