PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicolor forming device which accurately detects density. SOLUTION: A density sensor 5 can detect density measurement patches on an intermediate transfer body 4 and transfer drum 6. The density measurement patches are measured on either one of the two, the intermediate transfer body 4 and transfer drum 6 which are different in reflectance and suitable for the detection of corresponding color toners. Thus, each density is accurately detected, and an image of high image quality is formed under more satisfactory density-control. |
