PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply suitable steam by forming steam outlets at a humidifier body, forming a steam passage communicating with the outlet at a cover, and periodically turning OFF a heating means from the start of heating, thereby maintaining sanitary. SOLUTION: A steam discharging unit 12 is mounted at an upper port of a container body 1 at its back surface side, and steam outlets 25 of slits of three rows are formed at an inside of an upper part of an air guide port. A cover 3 has an upper lid 39, an inner lid 40 and a lower lid 41. A steam channel is formed of the lids 40 and 41. When an operation ON/OFF switch is turned ON, a water heater 26 is started to be energized to heat water contained in an inner container 2. That is, partial water is not evaporated, but all the water in the container 2 is heated and boiled. The heater 26 is stopped to be energized at the time point of boiling the water in the container 2. Then, a humidifying heater 27 is switched to be energized, and a Sirocco fan 9 is rotated by driving a motor. |
