PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the digital compression image changeover device by which an optional frame is used for a joint point, degradation in image quality due to re-coding is minimized and a special effect such as cross fade and superimposing is given to a joint. SOLUTION: In the case of selecting a 1st bit stream A into a 2nd bit stream B, a 1st switch mean 7 is thrown to a position of a terminal s2 at first and then a switcher 5 selects an analog signal from a decoder 3 into an analog signal from a decoder 4. Then a 2nd switch means 8 is thrown to a position of a terminal s4 and changeover is finished. Delay circuits 1, 2 compensate a processing delay time of the decoders 3, 4 and an encoder 6. Since the switcher 5 conducts changeover and/or edit in an analog signal area, an optional frame is used for a joint point and a special effect is applied to the joint. |
