MANUFACTURING DEVICE OF OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE GRATING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of an optical waveguide grating and a manufacturing method thereof by which plural optical waveguide gratings of mutually equivalent characteristics can be manufactured in the lump. SOLUTION: Optical fibers 51-54 forming a grating are arranged in parallel by a parallel arranging means. Irradiating light outputted from a light source 10 is sequentially reflected on reflection mirrors 23, 24, and the optical fibers are irradiated with the light via a mask 25. In this irradiation, the reflected light 23 also moves with the movement of a stage 21 controlled by a stage controller 22. In such a manner, the optical fibers 51-54 are scanned with the irradiating light thereon in the direction containing the directional components perpendicular to each optical axis of the optical fibers 51-54 to uniformize the irradiation quantity.
