PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably manufacturing a grid-shaped lens array of a large area at a low cost and to provide the grid-shaped lens array. SOLUTION: A numerously-lined relief 1 which is composed of a photo-sensitive resin and has convex and concave forms in a specific direction, is formed on a supporting body 2. A photo-setting latent image pattern 5 is formed on the numerously-lined relief 1 by exposing the numerously-lined pattern having continuous density gradation in the direction of the pattern width so as to intersect the numerously-lined relief 1. Further, a grid-shaped lens array 8 is formed on the supporting body 2 by heat-treating and overall-exposure-processing it. Furthermore, a grid-shaped lens array (duplicated one) is obtained by manufacturing a duplicated die by using this grid-shaped lens array 8 as a mother die, die-pressing it to a transparent plastic film and molding it.
