PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for measuring screw projecting dimensions which facilitates a measurement of screw projecting dimensions in a narrow location. SOLUTION: Cylindrical assembled parts 3 which have a cylinder having a different radius, can each slide, and can expand and contact are installed in a lug part of a screw 2. These cylindrical assembled parts 3 are expanded and contracted and coincide with an end part of the projecting part of the screw 2, and projecting dimensions are transferred to the cylindrical assembled parts 3. After the dimensions are transferred, the transferred cylindrical assembled parts 3 are removed from the screw 2, and a length of these cylindrical assembled parts 3 is measured by using a slide calipers, etc., thereby to measure the projecting dimensions of the screw 2.
