PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard terminal with which the key input similar to an ordinary physical keyboard is provided even without the physical keyboard. SOLUTION: Concerning the keyboard terminal for key input to an information processor, this keyboard terminal is provided with first and second light emitting parts 11 and 12 for respectively emitting light toward the respective keys of a virtual keyboard virtually arranging plural keys, light receiving part 13 for receiving light reflected from the first and second light emitting parts 11 and 12 onto an object located corresponding to the respective keys of virtual keys, and key detecting means for detecting the key on the virtual keyboard where a finger F is located based on the signal received by the light receiving part 13 and performing the key input corresponding to the detected key. When the position of the finger is moved for pressing the respective keys of the virtual keyboard, light reflected from the first and second light emitting parts onto the relevant finger is detected and by detecting the key on the virtual keyboard to which that detected light corresponds, the key input using the virtual keyboard is provided.
